It is not a suicide note. It just threatens suicide in the future.

try talking to them and finding out how they feel. Be there to support them. Usually, they won't do anything yet because the email is almost like a cry for help. If they get the support they need, they will realize that they need to get help and not go through with such a drastic act such as suicide. Basically this should raise a flag to you to go over and talk to them, that is what they are trying to do by letting you know they are suicidal.
Reply:I would ask them to get some professional help. I would offer to help them get whatever help they need. I would tell them that I will pray for them. After that I've done all I can do and would tell them that if they choose to kill themselves I will miss them when they are gone.
