I submitted a resume and cover letter to a company for a position. Within a week I received a general Thanks/No Thanks email saying other candidates better fit their qualifications. Typical, not a problem with that. However, the "To" field of the email listed all the other candidates that had applied and didn't qualify. I didn't authorize this company to share my email address with anyone. Is it legal for them to do this?

no, if you use yahoo email, you log in to it (your own, of course), type a short message like "here's that assignment you wanted", then click on a button near the text box where you typed the message, it will say "Attach Files", then you find your file you need to send on your computer wherever you put it. Then you click finished. You should go back to where you typed the message, then type in her email address which should be something like "aperson@yahoo.com" into the send to text box above the massage and click send. Hope it helps

To add your report to the email there should be a picture of a paperclip and when you go to click on it, it should say attach. Then you can browse your saved items and find your report then click attach.
Once you add a subject to your email simply hit send and your friend should get the email within minutes.

My company video tapes septic systems through a special camera. It is recorded onto VHS. To avoid driving 100 miles today to deliver this video, I want to know if it is at all possible to transfer the data from the VHS to the computer , and attach it in an email to send to the county. I've never had this problem before, and in the past week, I'm suddenly having trouble emailing Word 97 documents. The recipient opens them and the formatting is not the way it's supposed to be. The documents are in columns with a shaded box around part of the text. Everything looks perfect on my PC, but when I email it, the person who received the email tells me that the paragraphs are not in the right place and the box is not around the text in the proper place. What is happening and how can I fix it?

My question is; how do I send them the email offer of my client if on the zip form my client hasn鈥檛 signed it? They can use electronic signatures, which don't actually resemble the real signature but are a legal way to sign an electronic document. You have to pay a fee to allow them to do that.
They could also be scanning the contract in- changing the document to a pdf document and attaching it to an email. This will show the clients actual signature.
There is a service where you can fax it to someone else and it will be scanned in for you and emailed to you if you can't have a scanner with you but you do have a fax machine.

Is using Bcc a good option to sending out large amounts of emails to my mailing lists? I have tried using direct delivery, but that is not working. I have also tried the bulk email marketing servers, but I had too many spam complaints and they terminated my account. I'm not spamming, just responding to emails from my ads.

It is sad and pathetic but I've recently been in a similar situation and found Yahoo to be INSANELY unhelpful...it was almost as if they were going out of there way to help the criminal over me (a paying customer). I was locked out of my account once and they blamed it on a Yahoo error and reset everything to "normal" -- then days later I was blocked out again and they tipped me off there was suspicious activity. I say "tipped me off" because they wouldn't actually confirm that someone was in there, just insinuated I should "do something" about it. "Doing something" was in turn providing them with a bunch of fake (yes, they told me to MAKE IT UP) information so that the perpetrator couldn't call up Yahoo's help line and pretend to be me to get let back in. Again. When myself and my boss finally got a higher up to take us more seriously, they essentially said "well, you'll need the police to get a subpoena"...whereas the police were saying "well you need Yahoo to tell us that this person did this"...it was a catch 22 and DISGUSTING on Yahoo's part that they allowed someone to get away with this. Even after we discovered who it was, their "help" insured no repercussions were found for the perpetrator. So in short. No. Nothing can be done. As screwed up as it is, unless you have Sarah Palin-like power or a cop willing to bend the rules, I suggest you change all of your account info to fake stuff (again, Yahoo's suggestion) and move to Gmail or a mac.com account -- I am much happier in both those locations. Such a shame, I was a loyal Yahoo customer for years, but they really showed me what they care about most...protecting criminals.

When myself and my boss finally got a higher up to take us more seriously, they essentially said "well, you'll need the police to get a subpoena"...whereas the police were saying "well you need Yahoo to tell us that this person did this"...it was a catch 22 and DISGUSTING on Yahoo's part that they allowed someone to get away with this. Even after we discovered who it was, their "help" insured no repercussions were found for the perpetrator. So in short. No. Nothing can be done. As screwed up as it is, unless you have Sarah Palin-like power or a cop willing to bend the rules, I suggest you change all of your account info to fake stuff (again, Yahoo's suggestion) and move to Gmail or a mac.com account -- I am much happier in both those locations. Such a shame, I was a loyal Yahoo customer for years, but they really showed me what they care about most...protecting criminals.

What can i do about an owner who changed my email settings without my permission?
I belong to a group where the owner has decided that none of the members can be on No Email status. She freely admits she will go in and periodically change anyone with No Email to Special Notices. So far, i have changed my email preference three times back to MY choice. My settings are for my convenince, not a group owner. How do I report this violation to Yahoo?

The program would become much smaller after being converted.
