How to change email without losing contacts?

I wanna change my email but i don't want to lose any contacts. I have over 400 contacts and it'll take forever to add them one by one. I know you can send the messenger list thing, but it always ends up hanging cause there's too many contacts or something.

Is there any way I can change my email NAME only?

You can't change your Yahoo! ID, but you can get an extra email address for your existing account, or you can create a new account. (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/ch... )

Click the link below to get an extra email address for your existing account. It麓s absolutely free. Use it just as you would for your primary address (which of course you can still use). To make things handy, you can send and receive email from either address from the same inbox. http://edit.yahoo.com/config/list_alias?...

You can only have one Extra Email Address. Later on, if you decide that you do not like the one that you have created, and then you may delete it and create another one. Please note that Yahoo! limits the creation of Extra Email Addresses to 2 times within a one-year period. So, please create your Extra Mail Address carefully! Click this link and fill out the form to create a new account.

.....AND THEN....

Telling all your family and friends about your new address is really easy! Use the Announce Email Address feature to notify your contacts of your new handle. Here's how:

1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page and select Mail Options.

2. Under "Management," click Announce Email Address.

3. In the "Personalize Your Announcement" section, choose the address you're announcing from the pull-down menu next to "Email."

4. Fill out the remaining fields, then click the Preview and Send Announcement button. When you're pleased with how it looks, send it!
