Not only is it slow but after a few minutes, it jumps down to the bottom of the screen and I have to double click on it to bring it back up. This is very annoying when I am typing! It can happen more than once while I'm typing and while I reading an email!

with Yahoo!
try to go back to 7 (8 still has a LOT of buggies)
and Yahoo! also had stupid commercials that uploaded 2 at a time
and then exploded open - whether you clicked them or not

It's best to download IE8 from the official Microsoft site, rather than 3rd party sites. You can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx?ocid=ie8_sm_a.
ReplyDeleteAlso, have you tried enabling Compatibility Mode? This is the broken page icon next to the refresh button.
