most email services limit the size of an attachment. Chances are, the file you are trying to email is just way too big. This is because the free email services are trying to avoid allowing people to do exactly what you are trying to do.

What you CAN do, is get a copy of 7zip, or winzip, or winrar, and make what is called a spanned archive of the file you want to send. This takes the file, sticks it in a container, then breaks the container up into chunks any size you want. This way, for example, you can email three 1.5 mb pieces (each in a separate email) that can be reassembled into the 4.5mb song on the other end. Get it?
Reply:yahoo only allows 20mb as an attachment. most mail clients have a limit. the bigger the file, the longer it will take to attach, and to send to the recipient. i have emailed audio and video files using yahoo.
