How do I get my password sent to my alternate email?

I forgot the password for my Yahoo Mail, and I also don't remember the answer to my secret question. How do I get Yahoo to send me my password to my alternate email?

Unfortunately for the password to be mailed to a different e-mail what you made the account with, you would need to answer all the questions.


There IS an option what you can click if you don't have access to the alternative e mail anymore, but you need to know the answer to the secret question...


But one good thing that it will ask you the right secret question at the end, what maybe will jog your memory. (i.e. it will ask you whats your pets name....if thats what you picked...or will ask you whats your first car...if thats what you had originally)

Reply:On the sign in page click the link that says forgot password. Then type in your yahoo ID and it will give you your security question and you will be able to reset your password. It won't send it to your email but you will be able to change it.
Reply:hit retrieve password... and it should send you an email to your alternate email.. assuming that you had that setting checked in the options menu under "my account"
