What is a good sound effect for incoming email?
On my MBP I use a very low-pitch and quiet I think it's called "submarine" sound. You can hardly hear it. Low-pitch seems to help a lot. If YOU get used to listening for it, maybe even no one else will notice.
Reply:A woman in the local casino has a kitten mewing as her ring tone. I was sitting next to her at the slots and all of a sudden I heard a kitten in her bag on the floor.Coolest thing ever. Really gets your attention in a pleasant way.
